13th Regional Competition, Antitrust & Trade Conference 2026

On 27-28 August 2026, Rajah & Tann Asia’s (“RTA“) Competition & Antitrust and Trade Practice organised the 13th Regional Competition, Antitrust & Trade Conference: A Flagship Platform for Thought Leadership, Dialogue, and Collaboration in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Hosted by Indonesia RTA member firm Assegaf Hamzah & Parters, the conference brought together practitioners from across the RTA network to discuss the developments shaping competition, consumer protection, and trade across Southeast Asia, and their practical implications for organisations operating across the region. Over two days, participants exchanged perspectives on market power and unilateral conduct risks, merger control in complex transactions, cartel enforcement trends, trade and market access developments, and the rapidly changing consumer protection landscape. The discussions reinforced the growing importance of proactive compliance and regional collaboration in navigating regulatory expectations.
