RTA Regional M&A Conference 2024: A Decade of Transformative M&A – Navigating Challenges & Unlocking Value in Asia

As part of Rajah & Tann Asia’s (“RTA“) 10th Year Anniversary, we organised a comprehensive seminar on 28 August 2024 showcasing a decade of excellence in helping clients navigate and unlock value in mergers and acquisitions (“M&A“) across the region. The event brought together industry leaders and dealmakers from across Southeast Asia for a dynamic exchange on value creation in M&A.

The event featured an opening plenary on mega trends and opportunities, followed by breakout sessions highlighting, among others, our insight into notable areas that impact the success of transactions unique to the region. The event concluded with a panel on the transformative role of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) and how it impacts deal making and value creation in M&A.

Partners from across the RTA network shared their expertise and strategic insights on ensuring M&A success in 2024 and beyond. The speakers and moderators at the conference comprised Chia Kim Huat, Sandy Foo, Rajesh Sreenivasan, Kala Anandarajah, Desmond Wee, Lee Weilin, Tan Mui Hui, Terence Quek, and Shemane Chan from Rajah & Tann Singapore; Kuok Yew Chen, Yon See Ting, Adrian Chee, Jack Chor, and Yau Yee Ming from Christopher & Lee Ong; Ibrahim Assegaf, Eko Basyuni, and Ahmad Maulana from Assegaf Hamzah & Partners; and Vu Thi Que from Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers.
